there was nothing awfully frightening about it.
maybe it was because it was my first time?
the unknown always has a way with tinkling with our emotions, no?
i was told it was enjoyable
and beneficial.
somehow, i doubted the extent of this supposed pleasure that was to be derived.
'simply rejuvenating'
it seemed pretty simple.
there was nothing complicated about it.
no extensive instructions, no profound machinery.
yet, it was it's sheer simplicity that made me suspicious of the perks it boasted.
after considerble contemplation,
i decided 'what the heck',
i'm probably gonna do it someday,
might as well have a go now.
and so, with hesitation
and excitment,
i tore open the packet of my first face mask.
boy, did it feel good.
look out world. a new tai tai is in the making.
